Robert Smith? is associate professor of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Ottawa. (Before you ask, yes, the question mark is part of his name.) He co-authored the article "When Zombies Attack!: Mathematical Modelling of an Outbreak of Zombie Infection" that found international fame in the summer of 2009. He is also the author of Modelling Disease Ecology with Mathematics (American Institute of Mathematical Sciences, 2008) and the co-editor of two volumes of Time, Unincorporated: The Doctor Who Fanzine Archives (Mad Norwegian Press).
