Autorenporträt
Peter Steele sj has a Personal Chair in English at the University of Melbourne, Australia, where he has taught for many years. He was the Provincial Superior of the Australian Jesuits from 1985 to 1990. He has been a Visiting Professor at the University of Alberta, Georgetown University, Washington, and Loyola University, Chicago. He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities. His publications include three books of poetry, Word from Lilliput, (1973), Marching on Paradise (1984) and Invisible Riders (1999).
