Lucidos ha conseguito la laurea in agraria presso l'Università delle Filippine-Los Banos e il master in agraria (orticoltura) presso la Kyungpook National University (KNU) di Daegu City, Corea del Sud, dove ha ricevuto la borsa di studio d'onore della KNU. Ha pubblicato articoli di ricerca a livello locale e internazionale in materia di agricoltura e divulgazione.
