Autorenporträt
Born in Westmont Ill. Raised in Downers Grove ILL. To a middleclass family. At the age of 9 I lost my mother to cancer. I had two sisters, 12 and 10 a younger sister 2, my, father remarried when I was 11. The two years we were alone my sisters, and I managed the house and took care of our younger sister. I married at 20, Cheryl was born, divorced at 22, I made my own way for 3 years, remarried at 25. Bill and I would have been married 50 years, before Cancer took him from us. Brenda was born in 1969, with Downs syndrome. For me everything changed, with help from Bill and so many others along the way. Who I want to thank} Brenda has grown into a 48, year old person who is happy and loving most of the time.
