Lynn Salter is a senior lecturer on Bath Spa University's Early Years and Primary PGCE. She has led the development of a series of seminars entitled Teaching in a Diverse Society which include challenging assumptions, exploring British values and equipping teachers to meet the needs of all types of vulnerable learners. Her work draws on teaching experience spanning early years to KS2. As a senior school leader, she was accountable for safeguarding children and proud to lead a Value's Education school. She has worked as an international training and development consultant with a specialism in workplace equality and diversity. Her work has brought her into contact with a wide range of people who share her passion for inclusion, values education and achievement for all. Sarah O'Shaughnessy is a senior lecturer on Bath Spa University's Early Years and Primary PGCE and undergraduate Education Studies degree. She has led the development of the Teaching in a Diverse Society strand. Throughout this development and within her university teaching she draws on her own classroom teaching experience, which spans the primary age range and a variety of schools across the UK. She has a passion for children's rights, pupil voice, philosophy for children and global citizenship. Susan Wallace is Emeritus Professor of Education at Nottingham Trent University where, for many years, part of her role was to support learning on the initial training courses for teachers in the FE sector. She has researched and published extensively on education, training and management of behaviour, and is a popular keynote speaker at conferences. Her particular interests are in mentoring and the motivation and behaviour of students.
