Annemarie Nikolaus hat Anfang 2001 mit dem literarischen Schreiben begonnen. Seit 2011 veröffentlicht sie verlagsunabhängig.Sie ist gebürtige Hessin und hat zwanzig Jahre in Norditalien gelebt. 2010 ist sie mit ihrer Tochter in die Auvergne in Frankreich gezogen.Nach dem Studium von Psychologie, Publizistik, Politik und Geschichte war sie u.a. als Psychotherapeutin, Politikberaterin und Journalistin tätig.
