Hello. I am Normandy D. Piccolo. I am an Award-winning author, book reviewer, advertising copywriter and occasional blogger. I have written several books, appeared on TV Talk Shows and in Mom Blogs, written radio scripts for the "Click It or Ticket" national campaign featuring Charlie Daniels and The Chicks (formally known as the Dixie Chicks). I have also written radio/TV scripts for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. I was also nominated for a D&AD Award for my work on "Operation Lifesaver".¿My song, "My Bestfriend Ted", received continuous airplay on Chicago radio. Additionally, I worked on the GodSpeaks Billboard campaign contributing campaign concepts, along with scripts for the televised cartoon, Auto-B-Good. I have partnered with Baby2Baby in Los Angeles, California. ALL proceeds from the sale of my book My Little Peanut Does the Nuttiest Things! helps to support the children Baby2Baby serves living in poverty.I have participated on an Anti-Bullying Advisory Committee. I have written two Award-winning books. Bullied: Dying to Fit In was nominated and received the Advocacy/Social Justice Award for the 2019 In the Margins Book Award/School Library Journal. My other Award-winning book 'Why is Kristyn A. Kutter?' made the 2021 In the Margins Book Award/School Library Journal TOP 10 List for Fiction/Non-Fiction and the Fiction Recommendation List for 2021.
