Maryann McMahon is an Author and passionate, lifelong Educator who has worked for many years as a Pre-K, First, Fifth-and-Sixth Grade Teacher, Assistant Principal, Educational Director and is currently instructing Remote Pre-K and Kindergarten Classes. During her teaching days in Elmhurst, New York, one of the most multicultural communities in the United States, Maryann authored two children's coloring books, cleverly illustrated by one of her young students, as fundraisers for her school. Maryann was absolutely thrilled upon the Release of her First Official Children's Book on Amazon in May 2018! "Vinnie and Vicki - The Vibrant Viruses!" is a humorous read which tells of the adventures of two lively viruses as they embark on an exciting journey to an elementary school, a shopping mall and a doctor's office. At the medical office, they overhear Dr. Vitality instructing his young patients how to keep viruses away - "Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, Get enough sleep and rest, Drink lots of water, Exercise often and Always wash you hands!" "Vinnie and Vicki - The Vibrant Viruses!" is designed to educate children on healthy habits, good practices and basic nutritional needs in an entertaining venue. Maryann also released "Tooty the Tenderhearted Tooth!" in 2019, "A Special Present From Puddles!" (A St. Patrick's Day Story) in March 2020, and has recently launched "The Little Leftovers Have A Magical Christmas!" in November 2020!
