Emily Parent is a San Jose-based writer, zine artist, podcast producer, and yoga teacher from Chicago, IL. With her distinct, intentional, and poetic command of the written word, Parent seeks to capture the rough outline of what it means to be human through playful language and hand-drawn illustration. Having lived many lives in Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, and the San Francisco Bay Area, she offers thoughtful observation on what it means to fully participate in one's own life and to cultivate a fully rooted sense of self.
