This book is an attempt to show that, despite the strides made by the Cameroon Government to ensure that its civil servants fare well in the domain of tenure, health, safety/security and immunity from prosecution, there are still many shortcomings which have to be tackled at various levels. Any move aimed at overcoming these shortcomings should involve the participation of all the stakeholders concerned. Furthermore, it could also be influenced, if need be, by better practices in public service institutions in and out of Africa.
