Joel Hawksley is a distinguished veteran, author, entrepreneur, and community leader whose life has been shaped by his service to the country, commitment to professional excellence, and enduring passion for creative expression. During his 15 years in the U.S. Army, he distinguished himself across multiple units and roles, leaving a lasting impact wherever he served. He was a paratrooper, a Military Policeman, and a Communication Specialist. After transitioning to civilian life, he brought the same tenacity and drive that characterized his military career.Over the next twenty years, he developed a diverse portfolio of experiences in retail, education, politics, and entrepreneurship. Today, you can find him on podcasts, at poetry readings, book signings, NASCAR races, in public libraries, or at home writing and reading.
