There is a saying: 'Do what you love in life.' But I often found myself as just another person caught in the rat race-studying hard, pursuing an MBA, planning for a job, and enjoying life on weekends, just like my parents wanted. Yet deep down, I always felt there should be something more, something that truly motivates me to enjoy life and not just go through the motions. Although I discovered my passion for writing during my MBA, I realized that my love for creating things had existed since I was a kid. I would craft imaginary characters and dream up stories-it made me feel like I was doing something meaningful. Writing, for me, has become a journey of self-discovery. This is my first story, and I started it without knowing much about writing. I just sat down to craft a sweet romantic tale, without knowing the ending. I let the words lead me, and guess what? Before I realized it, that romance had twisted into a crime thriller! That is the magic of writing-the story takes on a life of its own.
