My name is Vermelle (Candy)Perry >I was born and raised in Washington DC, attended DC public schools, ironically, I lived with my sister Carolyn my last year of school where i graduated Married very young, continued education, raising children. The world wind was happening. Ronald and I have been married for 40 plus years, we have been blessed with 4 children who are now grown and between them have given us 10 grandchildren & counting. The marriage thing, Beautiful in all its glory, we have been through the highs, lows, ups, downs, the struggle love, health struggles, but always back to Never wanna live without you. My love for writing came early on in life, it was an assignment in creative writing class, the instructor gave the assignment to write your autobiography, I picked up the pen and to my surprise my little assignment was up for publishing, I denied the offer (scared I guess, unsure of myself, I don't know. >This book of poems reaches the depths of my love for the power of the pen in creative writings. >To God be the Glory I thank you for your love and grace I thank my husband for always being supportive >Walk by faith not by sight Hold on to the eternal light Stay encouraged!
