Since the late 80s Kylie Minogue has sold over eighty-million records worldwide and is the best-selling Australian pop star of all time. Her accolades include two Grammy Awards, four Brit Awards and eighteen ARIA Music Awards and her current Tension world tour is the most successful of her career. But who is the 'real' Kylie? And how has she remained a mystery while also navigating a near five-decade long career in the fickle world of pop? Or is her elusiveness the key to that longevity? With particular focus on her timeless music, Michael Cragg will visit the important landmarks in her journey, from that famous Australian cul-de-sac to the site of the south London studio where she first sang 'I Should Be So Lucky' and the Las Vegas resort in which she recently fulfilled her Showgirl ambitions. Via a mix of brand new interviews, a dash of oral history and some playful music writing, Can't Get You Out of My Head will set Kylie in a cultural and social context fit for a modern-day icon.
