Three tools of benchmarking namely,Capacity Utilization (CU), Technical Efficiency (TE) and Total Factor Productivity (TFP) Growth have been used for accessing the performance of Indian Sugar industry. The author is faculty member of School of Social Sciences, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar(Pb.), India.
