Hollis Cheek has already lived a full life and is now processing some of his thoughts into written prose and poetry. Having graduated from Mississippi State University, he has been a long-time businessman in the state of Mississippi. He's held elected office at the local level as well as with the Mississippi State Senate. He's also been a bank director, an inventor with 14 patents, and a fixed wing and helicopter pilot. His other novel, published in 2003, is Sunsets Don't Wait.
