The novella by Prosper Merimee that Georges Bizet transformed into an opera is presented here in a new version inspired by the choreography of Johan Inger for the Spanish National Dance Company. The wild, free heart of a different kind of Carmen beats in the pages of this book, a Carmen who is gradually revealed to us through the innocent gaze of the little boy who tells her story.
