Traditional cartography aims to locate points and places themselves, often leaving out other important elements for the location represented on the map. From this perspective, cartography seems to be merely a framework for locating points and places, whether strategic or not. The creation of a map is usually linked to professionals trained for this purpose, which is indeed necessary when considering the scientific nature and use of techniques required for location accuracy. However, it is also necessary to take into account that there are other forms of mapping that do not necessarily require location accuracy, but rather perception. In this sense, creating new methodologies and meanings for cartography can lead to various problems in the disciplinary field, making it necessary to open the doors to the outside, to the new. This is what the construction of a new cartography needs: to insert new views and perspectives on forms of representation, without losing the essential character of a map: location.
