Mainak Mukherjee ist Assistenzprofessor in der Abteilung für Elektrotechnik, Energie und Strom an der Universität für Erdöl- und Energiestudien in Dehradun, wo er zuvor seinen M.Tech in Energiesystemen an der Universität für Erdöl- und Energiestudien in Dehradun abgeschlossen hat. Außerdem hat er ein BE in Maschinenbau von der Universität Nagpur.
