Linda Avellar is a former Emmy-nominated TV news reporter who's always loved a good story. After stepping away from the news business, she couldn't resist taking a job at the public library in Stamford, Connecticut, where she's surrounded by books.A Southern California native, she's lived in Connecticut most of her adult life with her husband, two kids, and a succession of amiable dogs and cranky cats. She is a founding member of the Women's Fiction Writers Association, and when she's not writing, you can find her digging in her garden, hiking with her grown kids in the Pacific Northwest, or sailing on Long Island Sound.
