My name is Charlotte Davison, and I am the proud author of two recently published fictional novels. Having lived in the picturesque countryside of Somerset, England, for the past 40 years, I hold the sprawling Mendip Hills, located just a short distance from my home, close to my heart. Both my husband and I have always considered Somerset our happy place.My writing journey began in 2020-a year that will forever be etched in our memories due to the global pandemic and its accompanying uncertainty. The world outside stopped as you would say, yet it was during this time allowed me to sit at my computer and begin to write my first novel. I have always held onto a guiding principle that resonates deeply within me: With great positivity and determination, when there is something in life that you want to achieve, do it, challenge yourself, and don't look back
