Screenwriter and CATERPILLARLAND author Roxanne Beck Raye took a career detour on the way to California, making stops in Nashville and New York and accumulating a lengthy list of music, TV, and film credits. Credits include MISS FAMOUS starring Kristen Wiig and Jimmy Kimmel, as well as polishes and rewrites for studios and production companies. Roxanne's TV drama pilot THE QUEEN OF MAGIC received a "9" rating from The Black List. She is a graduate of UCLA's MFA in Screenwriting program (Humanitas Drama Fellowship nomination, Oliver's Prize). CATERPILLARLAND is her first book. Roxanne lives in Los Angeles with her wonderful dogs Dolly and Lucky.
