Tsukasa Hojo is a manga author-illustrator known for legendary series City Hunter and Cat’s Eye—franchises of extraordinary success which have had a life on their own, being adapted into anime, films, stage plays, and more. Representative of the 80s era, his works showcase the stylish glamor of a generation characterized by nightlife. A mentor to manga authors Haruto Umezawa of BØY and Takehiko Inoue of critically acclaimed Vagabond and Slam Dunk, Tsukasa Hojo's inspirational style is marked by an exhilarating combination of bold lines and sharp details. Hojo Tsukasa was invited as the guest of honor at Japan Expo 2023. He is also the founder and residing representative of manga publisher Coamix and spearheads its manga magazine today.
