The paper reconstructs the history of the development of the Caucasian Division of the Imperial Russian Geographical Society from the moment of its establishment in the early 1850s to the beginning of 1918, when information about it disappeared from the press. The first part considers the general history of the Division during this period. It then examines the system of administration, changes in it, and biographies of individual administrators, indicating their contribution to the history of the Division. Two sections are devoted to the history of the highest governing and working bodies of the Caucasian Division of the Imperial Russian Geographical Society - the General Meetings and the Managing Committee.
