David M. Pratt, PhD, MSW, is a New York State licensed psychologist with 40] years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents and families. Dr. Pratt is in private practice at Western New York Psychotherapy Services, a private group practice in Amherst, NY. Previously, he was the principal psychologist at the Western New York Children's Psychiatric Center, a clinical assistant professor of psychiatry at the University at Buffalo, and an adjunct professor/lecturer in the Department of Counseling, School, and Educational Psychology at Buffalo as well. He is presently on the training faculty with the School of Social Work at the University at Buffalo, and a member of the New York State Office of Mental Health Advisory Board on Evidence-Based Treatments for Youth. Dr. Pratt also presents seminars for PESI, Inc. and has conducted numerous trainings and workshops in cognitive-behavioral therapy at local, state, national, and international forums. Dr. Pratt is the author of CBT Toolbox for Depressed, Anxious and Suicidal Children and Adolescents (PESI Publishing & Media, 2019) and Advanced CBT Toolbox for Depressed, Anxious and Traumatized Children and Adolescents (PESI Publishing & Media, 2022)
