Aileen Hower, EdD, is an associate professor of literacy at Millersville University, where she also serves as the coordinator for the Language & Literacy Graduate Program. She is the past president and current ILA coordinator of the Keystone State Literacy Association. She is the author of several articles on literacy and writing and runs a summer writing institute each summer at Millersville.
