In most developing countries, agriculture is the main source of income in rural areas. But many young people consider this sector as a painful and unprofitable activity; they thing that it is reserved for people who have not studied and prefer to escape it. However, several experiences around the world show that entrepreneurship in agriculture offers a better prospect that can lead to job creation for young people. The study aims to analyse the Chadian youth perception on the agribusiness to promote their socio-economic development. The findings of the study would focus on raising youth awareness, inviting youth to an increasing access to agricultural information, strengthening them to linkages with farmer organisations and encourage the youth training about the agribusiness entrepreneurship that lead to poverty alleviation.
