The predominant skin and shank colour observed was yellow, eye colour was brown and majority of the birds had wattles under field and farm conditions in Bengaluru division.

Dr. Shivappa Nayaka H.B is presently working as Scientist of Animal Science at ICAR-Krishi Vigyana Kendra, Tumakuru-1 of Karnataka state. He served for 10 years in the University and published more than 7 research papers and demonstrated more than 20 animal husbandry related technologies at farmers field.
