DR. RON CHARLES worked as a structural engineer for 12 years and served as a senior pastor for 14 years. He is passionate about history and archaeology, particularly New Testament and Roman-era history. He fed this passion by earning an M.A. in Theology, a Ph.D. in Ancient History and a Th.D. in Historical Theology. Dr. Charles' quest for the historical Jesus has spanned over 43 years, with travels to more than 50 countries. He has taken part in archaeological investigations in five countries in search of information about the life of Jesus. Dr. Charles is co-founder of the Albania-America an Archaeological Society, and he has served on the board of directors for Pacific International University and Final Frontiers International. Until recently he also served on the Board of Governors for The International Biographical Centre of Cambridge. Cambridge has a warded him its One Thousand Great Americans designation. Today, Dr. Charles serves as a missionary to the people of the Middle East. He also conducts historical/education tours to Europe and the Middle East.
