Autorenporträt
Born in York, England, Richard Stuttle trained as a chef and honed his skills in fine dining restaurants and hotels around the UK. He has always had a love for travel and spent over ten years travelling and working around Europe. His creativity moved him into the arts. He became an accomplished watercolour and oil painter, exhibiting in the UK, France and USA. In 2002 Richard was one of the founding members of Caroline's Rainbow Foundation, which was formed after his sister's murder in Australia. At the end of 2003 he flew to Australia and spent two years backpacking around the country, painting, representing his family during the murder trial and following in his sister's footsteps. He has worked with the charity throughout the years, developing many travel safety projects and speaking to thousands of students about the importance of their safety when abroad. Richard continues to paint and write daily as well as running workshops to develop art, creativity and sensitivity. He is also looking to the future of his charity and new safer travel projects to help our next generation of world travellers.
