Rosana Petinatti da Cruz y Maria Lucia Teixeira Guerra de Mendonça son licenciadas en Química por la UFRJ, Máster en Química Analítica y Doctora en Ciencias por la PUC-RJ. Ambas son actualmente investigadoras, docentes y tienen experiencia en Química General y Ambiental, la primera enseñando en la Escuela Técnica Superior de la UFRRJ y la segunda en el IFRJ.
