Louise Margaret Granahan has been an elementary school teacher for over 13 years. She has traveled extensively and has experienced many different countries and cultures. Louise conducts workshops on bookmaking, writing and publishing books with children, and the writing process. She is a published poet, editor, and a writer of several academic articles. Granahan is well-known for her commitment to and knowledge of children's literature.
