Autorenporträt
Prof. Mammo Muchie did his undergraduate degree at Columbia University and his M.Phil. and D.Phil. from the University of Sussex, UK. He is currently a DSI/NRF research professor of science, technology  and  Innovation Studies at the Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment at Tshwane University of Technology. He is also an NRF-rated research professor. He is a fellow of the South African Academy of Sciences, the African Academy of Sciences, Associate Fellow of the Ethiopian Academy of Science and the African Scientific Institute. He is adjunct professor at the Africa Centre of Excellence in Data Science, University of Rwanda, University of Gondar, and University of Bahir Dar in  Ethiopia. He is also a senior research associate at the TMCD Centre of Oxford University collaborating with researchers on creativity and innovation in low-income economies.He has produced over 495 publications with entries  in institutional publications and his research is internatinally accredited and with citations  in research gate, google scholar and scopus.He is the   founder the African journal of science, technology, innovation and development. He has taught at the university of economics in Prague and served as part-time senior lecturer in Cambridge University, U.K, Visiting Professor in Jawaharlal Nehru University in India, Tonji and Shanghai university in China, Honorary ProfessorI Jiaxing University in China, Assistant Professor in Amsterdam university and Visiting Professor  in Carleton College U.S. A ,Principal Lecturer at Middlesex University,U.K,, professor at Aalborg University in Denmark, and founder of Association for South-South Cooperation in  Innovation Systems Transformation.   Angathevar Baskaran is a professor at the Department of Development Studies, Faculty of Business and Economics; Head of UM North-South Research Centre, University of Malaya, Malaysia; and senior research associate, SARChI (Science, Technology and Innovation Studies), Tshwane University of Technology, Pretoria, South Africa. He holds a Ph.D. in Science and Technology Policy Studies from SPRU, University of Sussex, UK. His research interests include economics of innovation, national innovation systems, innovation and entrepreneurship, and sustainable development, focusing on multidisciplinary themes related to emerging and developing economies. He has undertaken research projects for UNESCO, OECD, ERIA and European Commission. He has produced over 140 publications. He is co- editor-in-chief of the African Journal of Science, Technology, Innovation, and Development (AJSTID). Prof. Mingfeng Tang obtained her bachelor's degree from Liaoning University, China, and her master's degrees and Ph.D. from the University of Strasbourg, France. She received a training on Teaching Entrepreneurial Thought and Action at Babson College, USA. Dr. Tang is a full-time professor at the School of Business Administration, and founder and director of Sino-French Innovation Research Center at the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, China. She is also an affiliated researcher in Bureau d'Economie Théorique et Appliquée, France, and an advisor on the editorial board of the African Journal of Science, Technology, Innovation, and Development (AJSTID). Her research focuses on innovation and entrepreneurship. Professor Tang published around 60 articles in peer-reviewed domestic and international journals. She has also undertaken or participated in 27 research projects for NSFC, OECD, ERUSMAS+, DAAD, and so on. Up till now, Professor Tang has received over 10 university and provincial awards in teaching and research.
