NORM WIELSCH was a law enforcement officer for over twenty-five years. Sixteen of those as an undercover narcotic agent. He experienced many critical incidents during his career. In 1998, he was diagnosed with PTSD and an incurable neuro-muscular disease that caused the loss of feeling, mobility, and strength in his hands and feet. After over 30 surgeries to his feet he became addicted to opioids. Due to his sinful responses to his trauma, Norm made a series of poor decisions that landed him in federal prison. It was during the most intense trial of his life that he answered the calling of God who was calling him to minister to people who were suffering from trauma.
