Autorenporträt
John Jardine was born in 1951 in Carstairs, Lanarkshire, Scotland, and only started writing at the age of 60. At this point, he was told he had ME (post viral fatigue), so he had to spend a lot of time resting; this did not suit him, as he had led a very active life, scuba diving, climbing mountains, acting, singing and stage manager in amateur dramatics. He spent the last fourteen years of his working life as a driving instructor. He is now retired, and has three children and five grandchildren.
