Full of humor, heart, and holiday spirit, Christmas Weddings are the Worst Best is a joyful reminder that love is messy, grace is real, and God's timing is always perfect.

She wanted to see herself, her friends, and her family reflected in the books she was reading. Main characters who were people of color thriving in their careers, growing in God, and approaching life with humor and grace. Since she couldn't find enough of the books she wanted to read, she started writing them. Blending real-life experiences, storylines conceived over the years, and creative license, the Unexpected Love Series was born-later-in-life inspirational romances with people of color as the main characters."
