For six years, James toured as a multi-instrumentalist musician with the Royal Marines Band. During this period, he studied music theory at the RM School of Music and during his DipHE Music studies, taking a particular interest in arranging classical piano and orchestral scores for solo instruments.James continued his studies in 2009 achieving a BSc (Hons) from the University of Edinburgh. He subsequently established his own publishing company and record label and began printing, recording, and distributing his musical works. His musical catalogue has attracted millions of streams, sales, and downloads worldwide.Inspired by the success of his musical works, in 2019 James trained and qualified as a teacher, achieving a Post Graduate Certificate in Education with QTS. He now focuses on sharing his experiences and knowledge through teaching and as an author of educational resources.
