Steven E. Sondergard is a chemical engineer and business manager. He received his postgraduate training in chemical engineering, operations research, and business administration. He has extensive postgraduate training and experience in scientific analysis, computer modeling, optimization, economics, and management. Sondergard has worked for companies involved in constructing wind farms and ethanol plants and is generally taking a leading-edge position on action measures to mitigate potential global warming and climate change impacts.
