The impacts of climate change are predicted to affect social-economic development in many countries around the global. I feel strongly that countries should start taking necessary steps to develop and mainstream adaptation and mitigation policies into all development projects. However, before the devising of the adaptation and mitigation policies, it is necessary to characterize and understand the future climate change at temporal and spatial scales to provide evidence that would guide the policy formulation process.
