Autorenporträt
Dr. Zeba Khanam is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) at the Centre for the Study of Regional Development (CSRD), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. Previously, she served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography at Noida International University, where she was honored with the Best Researcher Award of the Year (2024). A Gold Medallist in her M.A., she was awarded the UGC Junior Research Fellowship in 2015 and completed her Ph.D. in Remote Sensing and GIS from Aligarh Muslim University. Her interdisciplinary research spans land management, micro-climate, human health, water management, and gender studies. She also contributed as a Research Assistant on a Ministry-sponsored GIS mapping project in Tamil Nadu. Dr. Khanam has published in Scopus and Web of Science journals, presented at numerous conferences, received the Best Paper Award at Delhi University (2019), and actively review for several reputed academic journals.
