Fergal Gaynor (b. 1969 in Ireland) has been active in the arts, as a poet, critic, editor, organiser and performer, since 2000. Editor of Southword with Paddy Galvin, he became a regular reviewer with Circa in the 2000s, before founding his own art magazine with Ed Kr¿ma, Enclave Review, in 2010. He was part of the curatorial team for the Cork Caucus in 2005, and helped organise Cork's SoundEye Festival during its twenty-year run. His first poetry collection, VIII Stepping Poems & Other Pieces, was published by Miami University Press in 2011. He is married to violinist Marja, née Tuhkanen, and has three children, Ella, Tilda and Christopher.
