Allisa grew up in a small town that's buried in the cornfields of Iowa. She works in education and has a master of science degree in effective teaching with minors in creative writing and film studies. Allisa spends her free time coaching middle school volleyball, binge-watching TV shows, writing, playing with her children, and entertaining her wife. She loves to travel and misses her dog literally every minute she's not with her.
