The book presents the challenging field of cochlear implantation in complex cases. Following the initial introductory chapters, subsequent sections address complex cochlear implant scenarios involving anatomical anomalies, meningitis, temporal bone fractures, etc, with particular emphasis on the use of subtotal petrosectomy in such demanding situations. Each chapter features high-quality surgical images and detailed step-by-step descriptions. In cases requiring specific cochlear implant mapping adjustments, a dedicated section within the corresponding chapter is devoted to electrophysiology.…mehr
