During a period of over five years of work in the Biblioteca Ambrosiana in Milan, the author has examined the majority of its Arabic manuscripts in order to provide some elementary codicological data. Autorenporträt
Ali Faraj is a scholar of Semitic Languages and studies Arabic Manuscripts, in particular incantation materials written in Arabic, Aramaic, Mandaic and Syriac held at the Iraqi Museum. He is Professor of Arabic at Bicocca University in Milan and is Adjunct Professor at the Biblioteca Ambrosiana.
