Arvid Ellison is gracefully leading his wife through the Golden Years. Friends and family see a sweet and giving soul. Not everyone agrees. FBI Agent Woodhull won't be fooled by an old man with a Bible! He believes Arvie is lying and should spend his remaining years behind bars. Arvie speaks of hope and miracles. Just because something seems impossible, doesn't make it so. God is capable of everything and may use an old codger and his friends to make a difference. Newspaper man, Sandy Marsh is after the truth. Is Arvie senile or purposely deceiving everyone? Could it be that he speaks the truth; that miracles are possible right here and now? From Bible study to a jail cell, new author, Bill Pearson, takes us on a journey from the least of us to the most powerful demonstrating that all things are possible. No matter who you are or what your past, God can make good from bad, right from wrong and may even use some old guy pouring coffee to change the world one baby boomer at a time.

Autorenporträt
Bill Pearson is a weird combination of a bloke who refuses to fit any mould. Born in Sydney's urban sprawl, he first found escape in hunting New South Wales far western plains. Although a relative latecomer to the sport, he more than made up for the lost time by becoming a habitual trophy hunter. He was a contributing photo journalist to all major Australian hunting magazines for more than 15 years and is well known for his articles. His professions and recreations are a unique and, in some ways, contradictory mix, photographer, news cameraman, videotape editor, Baptist minister, hunter, professional counsellor, award-winning taxidermist and confirmed petrol head. Above all else, he describes himself as an antler-holic, a condition he quite unashamedly outlines at the end of this book. Along the way as he relates his adventures and own development as a hunter, he shares what he has learned about hunting techniques and camp craft, invaluable knowledge to help others in the same sport. This is a work sure to be enjoyed by all who share Bill's love of the great Aussie bush and the animals that live in it.
