Christy Gerrell is a lifelong resident of Florida, born and raised in the Tallahassee - Woodville area. She's always had a love of writing but never pursued her passion until her daughter became ill with a rare neurodegenerative disease and her husband began a long hard battle with cancer in early 2017.
