This book emerged from an action research project carried out with young people from the Poço Longe Agrarian Reform Settlement. The research investigated aspects of experimentation with elements of Commedia dell'Arte with the young people from the settlement, and the following elements were chosen to guide the investigation: the body construction of the genre's types, the making of masks and the drafting of a script. The experiment aimed to explain the appropriation and transformations made by the participants based on their cultural identifications with the masks they worked on.

Autorenporträt
Teacher of the Field Education course with a major in Arts and Music at the Federal University of Tocantins. She has a degree in Theater from UFBA and a Master's degree from PPGAC/UFBA. She is co-founder of the Roda Moinho Theater Group. She has been involved in various cultural activities since 2010 in the Poço Longe Agrarian Reform Settlement in Ruy Barbosa/BA.
