U.S. and German export control policies are compared, showing how these policies have responded to the changes in the international environment, including the end of the Cold War. CLAUS HOFHANSEL teaches Comparative Politics and International Relations at Rhode Island College. Dr. Hofhansel has published a number of articles and book chapters on export controls, and his main research interests concern the domestic sources of foreign policy.
