Rodolfo Rosales, author of The Illusion of Inclusion: The Untold Political Story of San Antonio, 1950 to 1991. (2000) and co-editor of Latino Urban Agency (2013) with Sharon Navarro, obtained his Ph.D in Political Science from the University of Michigan, and retired from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Rosales' theoretical research focuses on the relationship between the structure and agency of communities and their struggle to shape their urban environment.
