The problematic of this contribution revolves around the concept of "transaction" as "reciprocal action" as a manifestation of the principle of reciprocity structuring the matrimonial union. This is so despite the fact that in France, in marriage and other types of unions, matrimonial transactions do not seem to exist in an ostentatious way, and that the legal context does not seem to highlight this explicitly, especially in the case of the common regime in France (which avoids the notarial deed).
